How I can help you:
I'm here for you as a guide, a mirror, an ear, a heart, and a voice. I believe that life is full of big and small stressors, and both have the power to consume your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Many resort to fight off or ignore those nagging words and voices in the mind, which causes them to get buried deeper. I'm here to help adolescents, adults, and families find ways to reduce and release those thoughts and feelings, and also find some relief.
If you were my client, I would focus on empowering and educating you, and helping you take the lead on your journey to growth and progress. I utilize an integration of EMDR's Adaptive Information Processing and Feminist theory, along with tangible techniques like sandtray and expressive arts therapy.
I help people who struggle with a variety of issues, which include and are not limited to: Trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, acculturation/mixed race and LGBTQ-related issues.
