Fee & Sliding Scale Options:

My rate for individual work is $200 per clinical hour (50 minutes); however, I am aware that this fee is not accessible to everyone. If this isn’t accessible for you, I sincerely encourage you to fill out the sliding-scale scholarship form at the bottom of this page or reach out to me and we can discuss my sliding-scale and scholarship options. Priority is usually given to Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQIAPD+ people, and those who have experienced significant trauma. I recognize that exploitative capitalism and economic hardship can impact people of all backgrounds, so please do not hesitate to inquire if you do not identify with the aforementioned groups.

I am deeply committed to making sure this work is accessible along with ensuring that I am supported to continue facilitating it, while also providing services for some who have limited means and resources.

Finding a therapist that is the right fit for you in theoretical orientation, scheduling, finances, and identity (when applicable/relevant) can be a daunting task. If it turns out that I am not the right fit for you for any reason, I will do my best to help you find a therapist that is. Please keep in mind: The more specific you are, the more challenging it can be.

Availability:

Due to current events, I am only seeing clients via telehealth video conference or by phone.

I am available to see clients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10AM - 8PM. Even when my availability is limited, I am diligent to make time for my clients especially when they are in need. I offer exceptions and provide accommodations when I am able to do so.

My office hours for emails, calls, and text messages are Monday - Friday from 9AM-6PM. Emails, calls, and text messages will be returned during the business hours listed unless otherwise specified.

I do not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or head to the nearest emergency room.

If you are not experiencing an emergency and you would like someone to talk to as soon as possible, please consider these resources:

I am not on any insurance panels, however many insurance carriers/PPO plans will reimburse out-of-network therapy costs. If your policy does reimburse you,  I will provide you with the paperwork (‘superbill’) needed to file a claim to be reimbursed. Please be aware that most insurance companies require a diagnosis code to be included on your superbill. Please call your insurance carrier to confirm the specifics of your plan for reimbursement.

Ask these questions when speaking to your insurance company about benefits:

  • Does my insurance plan reimburse for out-of-network, outpatient mental health services?

  • Does it only cover individual sessions? Couples work? Telehealth/video/phone sessions?

  • Do I have a deductible? Has it been met?

  • What amount or percentage will be reimbursed per session?

  • Is there a cap on how much can be reimbursed?

  • How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
